Project Description
Hi,
We're a small 3D printing company who have been printing for about a year. We've printed using Repetier, TinkerCad, and QCad. But we want to finally start using 3dCAD.
There's a lot to be said about 3dCAD. Most importantly that it's free to use and you don't need a license. To use it the user just needs to choose from a list of libraries and tell it where to find them. We want to use the 3dCAD suite.
We've used Repetier with TinkerCad and 3dCAD. Repetier is great for small things. TinkerCad is great for the big stuff. It has support for more complex printers and in our experience is faster than 3dCAD. 3dCAD is great for designing things and exporting them to TinkerCad. TinkerCad is great for getting things made.
There's also a 3dCAD robot. It's not too hard to use but is a little more complex than TinkerCad. TinkerCad is free and 3dCAD is just $5. It's a worthwhile investment for us.
I'm looking for someone who can help us work on the software side of things. We're going to need to make some changes to our software to make it work. Most of this is just clicking through dialogs and configuring the software. We'll need to create some new libraries and make sure the software can interface with our printers.
The software is based on Linux Mint, so you'll need to know a bit of Linux.
If you're interested please message me.
Thank you,
Billy
